i had my trans all gone through with all hardened internals, everything built to the max..supposedly able to hand up to 650 hp i droped about 3 grand into with the converter, and ive had it looked at by several people, and i still have a problem with it short shifting into second when i run.. sometimes it will run fine and shift about 6300 other times it will shift at 4,500 and i have to shift it manually when i race so i dont look stupid losing to stock cars.. well the main reason i wrote this is to ask if anyone knows if they make a manual valve body for the 4l60e.. thanks..

Transperformance Is A store on E-bay that specializes in Ls1 4L60e trannies. just go to ebay and type in 4L60e, and look for their store. I bought a built 750HP tranny from them for only $1450 brand new with a 2 year warranty. The list price was only $1650 and it came with free shipping. Check them out they probably have what you are looking for, or they can get it.

Also, are you confident in the shop that performed said "hardening?" It could be that they did not do all that much. Just a thought. I hope that you saw them change things out.

first off, a 3000$ tranny better be unfuckingbreakable! second, sounds more like a tuning or sensor issue. find a local tuner to check your perimeters and log some data for you.

alright thanks a lot guys.. the trans is holding up good.. nothing has broke. and the more i look into it, i believe its something to do with my tune.. im goin to take it back up to the guy that tuned it again, hopefully i can get all the bugs worked out of this thing.. because sometimes it shifts normal.. and others it doesnt.. it just sucks for tryin to run on the street, cuz who knows if it will act right
