Anyone know of a good shop to rebuild an LT1.
I was quoted $1500-$2000 from my local shop...
I'm not exactly sure how to search for the best place/price.
thanks

Where are you located?? That will make a huge difference. Or if you're into mail order motors check out Golen, or Combination Motorsports. You can find both of them over on the Impala forum. :D

build it yourself!!
Gather the parts and take it to a competent machine shop in your area and have them machine the block, then you can assemble it, or pay someone a few hundred to do it for you.
This is what I'm doing.
A lot more fun to DIY :D
