I was cruising on I-94 yestarday at about 80MPH going to pick up my girlfriend from her dad's house when this black murader gets up next to me. The guy looks at me then guns it and pulls on me by about a car, so im like ok:tired: I down shift to 4th and pull past him looking like are you serious? So i keep pulling on him and let off at about 140. I look behind me and he's about 10 or more cars behind me. Hard to tell if i blew him out or if he just gave up when he saw he wasnt going to catch me. :think: I slow down to 80 again and he stays behind me wont get next to me, wont pass me.

A Maruader is a Mercury Marquis that only comes in black, has 17" chrome wheels, tighter suspension and a little bit more HP. Originally, they were suppsosed to have a V10 but I think it's now a 4.6L V8.

also comes in maroon. my cousin has one.

I did'nt know they came in other colors. My uncle just purchased an almost new Crown Vic "Sport". It sounds very similar to the Marauder.

Marauder = DOHC 32V 4.6L (ala 99/01 Cobra) Rated at 302hp
Crown Vic = SOHC 16V 4.6L (ala a super restrictive de-tuned GT) rated at 210 hp

there's one running around down here in College Station that has a custom t-61 turbo set up... It's probably a little faster than most.

Yeah, he did mention something about the SOHC now that I think of it.

Marauders are pretty cool, my neighbor has a black one. Man are they heavy though
