Anyone know if anyone's figured something out yet? I tried but failed.

It does not work on COP ignition systems. The only ways of doing it are: tuning, try the IAT resistor trick, or buy a LS1 Timing Tuner.

try the IAT resistor trick

I did multiple searches in this Nitrous forum, but no posts came up regarding this. Do you have instructions + pictures on how to do this? Thanks! :cool2:

Did you try a search over on tech?

you need a Timing Tuner for the retard.
All the maximizer does is set a signal when to pull timing. You can set @ which % you start pulling time, but it's only a signal... you need a device that actually pulls the timing based on that signal.
Also note that you can configure the Maximizer to have the signal grounded/Vcc when activated... it's in the options.

I'm ready to install a wet kit on my 94' Z28 any recomendations as far as ignition upgrades or fuel pump replacement, auxillary pump.I currently have hypertech programer,160 thermostat,off-road pipe and dynomax muffler,3/73 rear gear,k&n cold air intake, and throtle body coolant bypass.

You might want to upgrade your fuel pump. The Racetronix kits are pretty easy to install. For more info:

How is this even pertinent to whether or not anyone has figured out how to pull timing with the Max II? F-

I'll just use the aforementioned potentiometer method and monitor it with HPTuners. I'm not ready to drop $50+ on even a used RamChargers timing tuner.
