...and not done yet!

Car: C4 Corvette Metallic Green
Car has been sitting around the shop for two years, while the owner gathered funds for a new 383 stroker :)

Got the car yesterday, and finished today. Well almost done. By looking at the pictures, you can see it was dusty and needed some serious detail
The process:
Exterior:
Washed the car with Duragloss Car Wash Shampoo
Claybarred twice with Clay Magic
Wiped down with IPA/Water 50/50 mix
Polished paint with Menzerna PO85RD3.02 with LC Orange Pad and a PC Buffer
Did another IPA/50/50 wipe down
Followed with ClearKote Red Moose Machine Glaze with Sonus Blue pad
Final coat with Rejex Paint Sealant with LC black pad
Windows cleaned with Stoners Invisible Glass Cleaner
Exterior black trim and rubber treated with Wizards Black Renew

Interior:
Leather seats got a 2-step Lexol treatment; cleaner and conditioner
Dashboard done with JW Satin Prot and Wizard
Wheels were cleaned with JW Prime, and topped with Rejex paint sealant
Tires got scrubbed with Duragloss Car Wash Shampoo, and topped with DuPont Tire Shine (owner wanted them shiny)
Still left to do...engine bay, wheel wells, and exhaust tips :eeek:

Here's some before and after pics...enjoy:

The interior came out good. it's not in the greatest shape as far as the seats, but it came out ok. The owner had already taken the car today when I stopped by to finish up a few things. Maybe next week I will have some shots of the interior...

Thanks for the kind words guys. I love detailing. The weather has gotten a lot better, and I plan on doing plenty of it. I have acquired some new products during the winter months, and I just can't wait to try them all.
For the next 2-3 weeks, I have a Victory Yellow C6 Corvette, and a 99 or 2000 Black NHRA Trans-Am, and a big 3500 HD black Chevy Diesel pick-up truck ;)
I may also do Mr Luos' black beast (402 T/A) depending on his plans as well :yup:
Stay tune. I will try to get some pics up when I'm done...

Looks great Goose! :yup:

I would never let a car of mine get that dusty, but if someone wrote in dust on my car like that, they would be hurt badly :Potty:

Okay its not just me then-I was thinkin the same thing. Alot of people dont understand that scratches the paint when you write on the dust or mud.

Looks like they wrote on the dust on the glasses. No harm no foul if that is the case.

looks great but you didnt touch the fenderwells? At least spray some tire shine up in there to make it black. That stuck out like a sore thumb as soon as I looked at the pictures. Im anal about that shit though:woot2:
