On alot of other boards i post on i updated them with my progress pics from Stenod Performance.... I guess when this site switched over my old screen name was lost.... and my post count.... oh well....

For those who dont know...
This is a Single Precision GT42-76 Turbo.
1 3/4 Primaries with 2 1/2 crossover
5" Downpipe off the turbo stepped down to 4" to fit thru the K-Memeber.
Turbo Smart 48MM Wastegate and a Tial 50MM BOV.
The motor has been lowered almost 2" so custom motor mounts were made.
Bell A2A Intercooler.
I was raped by AP Engineering on my last Forged 370ci motor so Best Machine out of Detroit is building it for me. 8.87:1 comp.
A Carl Rossler PowerGlide and Strange Spooled Rearend round out the drivetrain.
Stenod is also doing a 10 point Chromoly Cage for me at the same time..... Heat will stay but the A/C has been long gone........
Thats the mock-up Motor in the pic's since my motor is still being redone.
Now onto the Pics......

The pics are great. The plumbing on the turbo setup is really nice! What kind of power are you looking at?
Obviously, this is not going to be a daily driver, with that cage.

Looking good so far. Good luck.

Me and Joe (Stenod) Have been talking and we dont see a reason why we cant make 900rwhp..... Prob going to run 21-22 pounds of boost on kill and a lil milder when it does drive on the street.....

Now streetable is all in the eye of the beholder...... now i only have to dive 1.5 miles each way from my house to go to work..... so itll be worth it to me...... around town for a few things and cruises yeah..... long trips... thats a neagative:haha:

It'll be mostly a drag car that see's some street use.... ill drive it to and from work on most days.... I only live a mile and a half from work.... and around town to cruises and what not.
It will be trailored to the track and ill keep most of the stock interior for now and down the road i plan on two Kirkey race seats.

We will have to wait and see what the grand total weight is when its all done..... i do know that the cage material was 65lbs... not bad for being so much... its a chromoly cage.
Im sure it lost some weight from before now that it has a tubular K-member and A-Arms, No A/C stuff at all, and a way lighter transmission.... we will see ill be sure to post up.

i've seen some incredibly nice plumbing before. what you have is right up there with the best of them.

but isn't that turbo a little small? its no small turbo i know but I've spent a lot of time with turbo buicks and that turbo is pretty big but not huge even by the standards of a little 231 ci v6. i would think you would be wanting to go a little bigger to feed the motor.

either way i'm sure its going to scream.

with the 76mm wheel it will be enough for around 900rwhp... i do have plans/an option to upgrade to a 80mm wheel when i do max this one out.....
It will reach mt ET goals of a Mid 9 sec pass so when i do that i start planning for faster...:haha:
