I have had good experience with this product, but not seen it mentioned here.I wonder if there have been any negative or positive reasons that the folks here have heard,or do I JUST GET MY "Glass" out and go crazy.
Thanks

I've seen the stuff for sale in a bunch of places.
It comes in a metal container, I think its basically just a glossy polish. So it makes the car look very shiny. But being that its a liquid, I can't imagine it provides the protection, longevity, or sealing properties of a good wax like Zaino.

Liquid Glass has been around for a long time, and still very popular to this date. Nothing wrong with it, most of the reviews from users have always been positive, and they swear by it. I haven't had a chance to try it yet. I've got som much stuff now, I need to start using those up before I think about buying more waxes :eeek:

so is it literally like a coat of glass that bakes onto ur car to make it shiny? would it ever crack or is it just like a wax.

Liquid Glass has its own line of products. Apply like you would any other polish

I have had an '05 Blazer ,'99 Miata and a 99 Montana that I treated with Liquid Glass when I bought them new ,and I've not needed to wax them since. The finish is not a show car finish ,but "deepens" the finish when applied .An application is best done over a few warm days and is said to have best results when able to be "baked" in the sun,but I have just put multiple coats on in my garage over a few days and gone with that ,with good luck so far.
I started the thread to see if anyone had a better way seeing that I am considering using "Glass" on my newly acquired '99 SS.

Liquid Glass is a good product...
I apply several coats and then apply a wax over it...
LG works by creating a 'plastic coating', (cross linked poly whatevers), you need to have a relatively blemish free surface prior to applying it because it doesn't hide any imperfections, (it's not a glaze, in that it contains no fillers).
I think it's an effective low maintenance approach to keeping your car/truck looking nice. There are other products out there that do the same thing, however I've not tried them. That's due to the results I've gotten from LG.
I believe it's not 'lauded' by many folks because it's 'old school' and not fashonable.

good but not great product. I figure if you are going to put in the effort do it with a better product that lasts longer

The guy who owned my car before me claimed he put 12 coats of liquid glass on my car, It always shines even when it is dirty, I got o the liquid glass site and it said to strip it off before you put any other wax on it so i have never waxed my car and people always coment on how shiny it is.

Its a good product and you can buy it in a paste form...the only issue with it is you cant layer the coats of wax. It looks good for a short period of time esp on black.
You should try Meguires NXT wax.....its a bitch to remove the first time you use it but gets easier to remove after a few coats.
