auto to manual tranny switch

does any one know about how hard/ time consuming would it be to switch my 94 z/28 auto to a 6 speed manual?

Not that bad, I did it in my LS1 Camaro. The only difficult thing for me was making sure I cut the hole right for the shifter.

Not really, just make sure you replace rear main (as long as youre in there), and install a pilot bearing.

they have an article on that in this month's GM High Performance Magazine i believe. its pretty much step by step, and they even throw a price figure at you. somewhere around $4500 i think
