I am set on getting 3.73s in my A4 T/A and want to see what you guys run in yours or suggest ? I have been looking at the Richmond 3.73s. Overall I want no wine so I dont mind spending the extra money for that. Also would you guys recomend getting an instalitoin kit as well, like new barrings, seals etc. I will be buying them next weekend so I can break them in before I go to the track which is in a month from today, let me know what you all think, thanks. Posted this in the drivetrain section and got nothin so i ll try here.

3.73's are perfect for a A4, but Richmonds are known for whining. I don't think its that bad, but some people do. Motive Gear I believe are better for noise, I know others would have some imput on this. As for the install kit, I would get it. My philosophy is that you're in there, its out, so replace everything if you can. It really can't hurt.

I Agree, for the street / track combo, the 3.73 ratio is great. I even had a 3600 stall w/ 3.73 and drove to Ocean City ( 3 1/2 hr trip ) with no issues, and still had decent fuel milage !!! Now it's 4.10 / 4600 stall and not on the street much anymore...
