3.23 gears to 3.73 in my a4?

anybody changed form 3.23's to 3.73's in an auto? is there a good gain? big difference? or wat?

I swapped to a strange 12 bolt last year with 3.73's in it. Definite difference. I can't really give you any numbers because I haven't really driven the car much since the install and never keep track of my gas mileage but I can tell you with the gear change and a 3500 stall my around town mileage went way down. I'm not into modding for gas mileage so I don't keep track of it. After my heads and cam in a week or two and I tune it I plan on just getting some mileage numbers to see where it's at.
Performance was a pretty decent jump. Once again, I don't have any numbers just seat of the pants. Definite difference. I doubt I'll get it to the track again this year but maybe this fall I'll make it out.
