Low Oil Light?

Just for curiosity sake I was wondering how low on oil do you have to be for the warning light to come on?

Are you past due? Mines comes on from time to time even right after an oil change. I figure its either a faulty sensor or runs on mileage :confused:

This is an LT1... they dont have the same appetite for oil that LS1s have :p

Cerwin... check the dipstick, see how much you have to add to get to full again, real simple...
