yeah my sail panel speakers were blown when I bought the car and now I'm just getting around to replacing them lol. I have the 10 speaker monsoon sound system.

If I were you, just got out and buy some 6.5" seakers and splice the wiring in

neh I'm just going to keep with stock for now. It's really irritating me not having bass and I'm done messing with it. Will those work for my car?

I actually heard that you shouldn't really do that unless you get an aftermarket headunit, because the stock speakers are specific types and work with the headunit controls. Is this correct or just for the Monsoon system?

In my 98 my stock speakers were all 2ohms. The only thing that could really matter is that, make sure the speakers you are getting are of the same ohm rating or they can mess up the stock amp. I cut out the openings in the back seat and replaced them with 8" subs. They hit pretty hard and can't be seen/stolen. It just looks like stock stuff.
