I was getting ready to do this today and my roommate told me it would burn out the fog lights faster. I didnt think it would. He is one of the guys that like to keep everything oem. He doesnt see why i want to do it. I told him to see better with the HI's on and i dont like it when the fog lights go off when u put the HI's on. so if any one can tell me if it burns the bulbs out faster and if it really helps u see better at night with the HI's on. thanks guys

I guess it's possible that your lows & fogs will burn out faster because they will be used when your lights are on both low & high beam, whereas in stock form, they turn off and save bulb life whenever you run your high beams. But I don't think it's going to hurt anything. Shaving a little life off of your fog/lows isn't too big of a deal.

Does it really matter when bulbs are only about $22 for a good set?

what i was really wondering is will it hurt wiring or relays. i dont care about replacing bulbs, i just dont want to ruin my wiring and stuff like that.

All to wiring to the headlights already can handle the current w/o burning-up (independent wiring); unless you install higher wattage lamps which will draws more current and could burn up wiring and possible smoke the relay. I can't think of any reason that could cause damage to the circuit having both the Hi/lo beams and fog lamps on all at the same time. This option will only draw more power from the battery and thats ok...

PM EVL LS1, he has the write up. I changed my fogs to PIAA 510 fog lamps. Big difference. I do highly recommend that mod as well. I didn't do the all light mod. I haven't honestly, had the time in 4 years  If you want to change your lamps for higher wattage H3 bulbs, look at the cyberwhites from wal mart or blazertechs. I went the expensive route and used the 510's but cyber whites are just as good. It does require a simple bracket mod and some wire splicing but it take less than an hour to be honest. The results are definately worth it. Here's the pics on my car. I do have sealed beams for my lows with PIAA H7 bulbs.

The lamp looks out of center, I did fix it by adjusting the bracket
