View Full Version : What the hell is a Lancer "OZ" edition, and should I be ashamed for killing him?

It got ugly real quick, he had a "Evo" hood so I thought I'd get my first shot at an "Evo" but it just said "Oz" on the back or something along those lines. 65-120 left him a zip code behind. Oh well

I'm not sure whether or not you should be ashamed but you just whipped up on a N/A FWD 4 banger. I forgot the horsepower but it's not much.

I have an 04 lancer oz for a DD. It should have been much closer since they pack a whopping 120 horsepower. They weren't racing you....

it is a 4 cylinder and dont have hardly any power. they r just a regular lancer with some 15 inch oz wheels. i would be excited too if i smoked an evo since they run 13s in a 1/4, too bad it wasnt. u probally still would have smoked it even if it was a evo though.

Hey,

There's a post on LS1tech where a guy was worried about racing a chick who was talking all kinds of ricer sh*t about her Lancer. So don't be so sure that he wasn't racing you. Chances are pretty good that he was.

I raced a WRX STI on the freeway...stock i believe? 70-115 and got him by a car length at the end...i also had 3 other people in my TA and he had no1 in his car...but he tried to be an a$$ afterwards and wanted to play cat and mouse in and out of traffic.....sorry buddy this TA doesnt roll that way...i won fair and square... the same situation i presume would take place with an EVO 8

A Lancer is the base model that the Evo is made out of.Not sure what Oz is though-thought that was a type of wheel.Anyway the Lancer ain't got sh** as you found out.Funny story though.

A Lancer OZ is a cheap ass version of the EVO. All it has is beefed up suspension. It is basically the rally versio:lmao of the lancer.:lmao:

evo body panels will not fit a regular lancer due to the head lights and tail lights are different. the kid probly just had an aftermarket hood from ebay. you beat a 130 hp car.... good kill.:woot2:

A Lancer OZ is a cheap ass version of the EVO. All it has is beefed up suspension. It is basically the rally versio:lmao of the lancer.:lmao:

I wish my OZ handled like an EVO. This guy at my work actually told me my Lancer OZ Rally is nothing but an EVO without the turbo. :lmao:

Yeah he fooled me, when I came up it looked like an EVO, and yes, when he saw me coming he started to get on it a little trying to keep his lead so I dusted him. I am a bad person

this guy must a had mods ?, 70 to 135 I only pulled 1.5 - 2 cars. He stayed With me through 3rd as well ! too close I need a 75 shot.
