Possible rearend blown?

It seems like when I push my clutch in and go foward a lil bit and hit the brakes it clunks and also when I give it just a little gas and let of the clutch it clunks. I hope the answer is no but im starting to think it may be my rear end any real way to tell if its actually the rear end? Also if it is blown would it still turn and be driveable?

If your being rough with it, sometimes you will get a clunk.
Is it leaking any fluid? How many miles have you got on it? Does it whine at highway speed? Any vibrations?

It looks like its leaking fluid theres 135,xxx miles on it no whines no vibrations

It sounds as though there is excessive play on the gears. If the pinion is leaking and loose you could fix it and get some more time out of it. It may take away some of the play. If you are considering a gear swap in the future, now would be the time.

I wouldn't put too much money into fixing the rear if its stock, I blew mine four years ago and replaced the gears. Blew them again within the first year. Drove on it like that for a while but just put a Strange 12-bolt in, no problems yet.

i went to the track the other day and busted my driveshaft, a friend came out and put a spare one in, and it still clunked hella loud when i would roll, but they all think its my rear cuz i guess the teeth are grinding when it gets to that point. thats y im getting a 12 bolt, but it seems i have the same problem as u..

Your right, theres nothing better than putting a 12 bolt in, but for the money, you can't beat rebuilding a 10 BOLT. Plenty of guys still run their 10BOLT! They can go a pretty long time. I took mine out of my 136,000 mile daily driver with nothing wrong with it,(perfect shape) and I beat the shit out of it everyday. Put it in my other car and its still going.

If i remember right new gears for the 10-bolt were only a couple hundred, my 12-bolt cost me close to 2800. Re-builds definatly cheaper, i had bad luck blowing my 10-bolt twice in a few years. And im only at 68,000 miles.

Question tho if it was the rearend wouldnt it make a noise while im driving? Because while im driving it doesnt make any noiuse but when I hit a bump it clunks

If your pinion bearing is shot ,"NO" You should really climb under there and see whats going on. Check your driveshaft for play. Check the universal. Check the whole rear out. I would start there so I don't keep trying to troubleshoot and get you all worried. Its not that I don't want to help you, its that you really should do a thourough check of everything. LMK

I understand trust me I dont want to buy new stuff if I dont gotta im already in a ton of debt. How can I tell if my u-joints are bad?

To check u-joints, I jack the car up and put a crobar in between the back of the driveshaft u-joints. Hold the crobar steady. I then rock it back and fourth and up and down. There should be no play.
To check the pinoin, lightly rock the yoke back and fourth and up and down. There should be minimal back and fourth movement and "NO" up and down movement.

Found out my problem. Well after talking to 3 techs they all said its most likely my torque arm bushing/mounts. Well I just crawled under my car and guess what I can move it the bushings are GONE! So I ordered some new ones from work

ok well I looked my bushings are fine. I lost the bolt that bolts it into the tranny. Does anyon know what size bolt it is?
