So i went out to the test and tune on sat at sacramento raceway last sat and i got in a few runs and when i went to go do a burnout i heard a loud crashin noise, and i looked under and my driveshaft was just hangin down.. it wasnt even broken at the weld, it looked like it was machined cut and then polished off.. so im looking for an aftermarket one, i go with 3" or a 3.5? aluminum? and 33 spline? any help would be great

My plans are a S60 with a CF shaft. Most likely over kill, but that's me!

If your car isn't louder than your rear you need new exhaust!

Did the same thing to mine. Replaced it with a steel on from A-1 (local to me). I got a Strange 12 bolt, 33 spline with 4:10's, and a Mcleod kevlar clutch. Makes for a good set up. My car only sees maybe 12-15 passes a year tho. For an m6 car if your gonna race more than that, you may want a 9 inch. Look at Spohn's site, they sell Strange chromemoly drive shafts in the $300ish range.
