I have decided to go with koni shocks. Dont know if I should go with the
single adjustable of the double adjustable. can any one tell me the benefits
of having the DA over the SA? Also is the DA able to go to stiffer setings
then the SA koni's ? :dunno:

The DA's have an additional adjustment (compression?) than the SA's.

It really makes for allot more setting capabilities (over 1000?) which can get technical almost too technical so I went for the SA's.

Also with the SA's they have two perches so you can set the springs at two heights. They adjustments are enough for me front and back (4th gen)

It is up to you but you will be very happy with either dampers.

also i got flow tech long tube headers and umi 3 point sub frame's do you think i whould have enuff room for 1 1/2'' lowering springs?

Aslong as you have 'stiff' enough springs you should be ok. But some LT's really hang low so you will have to judge that for yourself as you do not want to be scraping everything as you have a street car.

Reasearch it some more but try a search on 'Strano Springs' on here and LS1tech as there are some posts/threads with pictures so you can make an educated decision.

unless you are a very serious road-racer or autox-er, there ain't much of an advantage going to a DA over an SA
The difference between both of them is that in the DA, you set up both compression and rebound independently on the DA, while on the SA, you set them together on a "general" setting.
Also note that the more adjustability you have allows for more room to screw it up... lol
I love my DAs... but if i'd redo it again, i'd get SA for the rear, not DA allround... and i race quite a bit.

I will be finding out about the SA's in about ten days, i'm not home right now but i am havin them installed, so when i get back the car will be ready then i'll post. SA's are alot cheaper than the DA's, only go DA's if you are hardcore.

you can still adjust them... it's just that both settings are correlated, instead of being independent. ie, in a DA, you can increase the compression by 1 click and decrease the rebound by 1 cilck.
On a SA, you'll have to chose from leaving in current position, increase both or decrease both... so unless you are hardcore... not really worthed.
Yet, if anything, it's worthed to get it in the front and go w/ SA in the rear. DA in the rear aren't worthed.

No trade off esp for the drags.

Like Eugenio said the difference is like a K-car compared to a Viper. Buy the SA's you cannot go wrong with Koni!

on the SA, yes... on the DA, they are 2 independent settings.
ie, SA = single adjustable; DA = double adjustable.
