Driver Side Window????????????

Where the window motor mounts to the door the rivets have somewhat torn up the fiberglass, and now the mounts shift as the window goes up and down, and the window goes about a half an inch from the top. has anyone had this problem????????? Please Help!

I've had this problem.. need new window regulator. Probably around $200 with labor, maybe less.

WELL IT WOULD SEEM TO ME THAT YOU WILL NEED TO GET THE FIBERGLASS THAT IT CRACKED, FIXED. TRY NOT TO CHEAPY IT BACK TOGETHER AT ANY COST. YOU WILL ONLY BE TAKING THE DOOR PANEL OFF AGAIN AND AGAIN. WHILE YOURE IN THERE MAKE SHURE THE LITTLE BLACK PLASTIC WHEELS THAT ARE IN THE TRAKS ARE IN GOOD SHAPE AND GREASED A LITTLE. ALSO MAKE SURE THE WINDOW IS NOT BINDING ON ANYTHING AS IT TRYS TO RAISE BECUSE SOMETHING HAS THAT FIBERGLASS CRACKING DOWN THERE .THERE ARE ADJUSTMENTS THAT CAN BE MADE IF NEED BE...... IT WANTS TO TELL YOU WANTS WRONG.........ARE YOU LISTENING? lol

Just goto a junk yard and buy another door!! I think this would be cheaper than trying to get that fixed.

The Paint May Not Match As Good As The Original Door . A Professional Body Shop Would Have No Problem Fixing The Broken Door. There Is Nothin To It. There Are Plenty Of Fiberglass Repair Kits Availiable. The Kind To Use Will Be Called Kitty Hair.it Has Long Fiberglass Strands For Strength .just Refiberglass The Broken Or Wollowed Out Holes On Both Sides .mark And Drill Out New Holes And Bolt Or Pop Rivet The Motor Back On. If The Fiberglass Or Adjustment Part Scares You Then Take It Somewhere To Have Professionally Done.
