can u change out shifter knob ?

Yes, on the front side of the shifter(side facing the stereo) there will be a staple. You want to get a flat head screwdriver and work it out. After you get the staple out, the shifter should slip right off. :)

I put a factory trans am leather T handle on mine years ago.
