Stalled auto will put a couple cars on an average M6 driver.
Maybe one on a really good M6 driver.
It all depends on the set-up.
If my car was an 4200 stalled A4 it would probably be 3 tenths faster than it is now.

I'd rather be banging my own gears. won't the 3400 stall be crappy for daily driving too?

3400 is about as high as I would go.
Mileage will suffer, but it would be driveable.

Sorry.
Forgot to mention. Highest I would go on a street car is 3400.
I only have one F-Body, and it is not an auto.

I have a 3800 in mine and its perfectly driveable. As long as you have a lockup, they are fine for daily driving. Usually stalls that are 4000 or higher don't have a lockup and I wouldn't have a stall that big in a daily driver. You would be fine with a 3400 for daily driving.
If I am strictly highway driving, I will still get 260-270 miles on a tank and a little over 200 in town driving.
