Konis are the best if you want to spend the money on them.

Deffinately go with Konis if you don't mind dropping the coin on them.

before just spending a lot onf $ on a great piece of equipment such as a Koni SA or Koni DA, let's see what you have as present suspension setup and see which shock will serve you better... who knows... there might be great shocks for the springs you have @ better $.

well i was looking into the bilstein shocks, but then again i was told that the kyb shocks were also a great upgrade.....

with all due respect, the kyb shocks aren't great, neither for handling nor confort. they are good mainly for drag purposes.
but before we go on the shock of choice, we would like to know which springs you are using and swaybars.
Is the rest of your suspension stock ? any mods ? please list them so we can help you better.

I thought comp engineering made a 3 way adj that would go 70/30?

I'd also like to know which ones I should buy. I have SLP 3 point SFC's and a SLP STB. that's it for right now. which kind of shocks should I get?

keeping stock springs, you can go with Bilstein HD and see an amazing improvement... or go Koni SA in the front w/ Bilstein HD in the rear if you want to lower the car 3/4" due to Koni SA dual-perch location... while keeping stock springs.

hmm, well I want to keep the same ride height. I have the world's steepest driveway. the only time I don't scrape on it is if I'm going out in a 45 degree angle.

you can still go SA for the front and use the "stock location" perch setting.
Bilstein HD will work very well on stock springs.

If you want just a good ride with good handling (better than stock) and no adjustment from what I read Bilstein HD @ app 350&up are the ticket. If you want adjustable and are afraid of KYB based on reviews the your lookin at 600 to 900 for Strange,QA1 or Koni. Sam Strano could valve you a special set for Im guessing 3to400 non adj.

Well currently, My car has stock springs, shocks, and swaybars all around.

no... I'm saying that you could go Koni SA in front and Bilstein HD in the rear.
if going with that setup, you can actually lower the car by 3/4" by using the lower perch location of the Koni SA (it has 2 perch locations)
the rear can be lowered by same amount using the hose-mod.
rear stock shocks are a POS

i just got my koni SA's on with the hotchkis 1" drop springs and damn........a very big difference for me. In turns it is so much more stable. It handles like a whiz and i don't even have sfc's. There is this spiral ramp i get onto every morning when i go to work it is 35 mph, well i always go down about 45mph well i can take it over 50 now and it holds..the car doesn't lean it just sticks to it, i was shocked that my t1's weren't struggling!!
