sprectre cold air intake from Auto Zone is it good? It looks cool

yesterday i went to auto zone and in this catolog i saww a ls1 cold air that has dual pips that were chrome and looked cool. it was the first time i seen them. the question is are they even good for hp or just looks. how new are thy? thanks

you can get it in what ever you want i would think... i mean they are just selling the peices in teh modular systems arent they?

all i know is that there was only 2 pics w there kits assembled. one honda and a ls1. it even had the stock air lid on as a dummy with the twin chrome tubes that looked aswsome. the picture is on the cover of there catolog
