I keep hearing people discuss re valved bilsteins with lowered vehicles...
I bought the eibach pro kit and i want to buy new shocks/struts..
my question is.. what does re valved mean? will regular shocks work? If i need re valved ones, where can i get them
i was looking at getting these
http://www.ws6project.com/user_stor/catalog/product_info.php?cPath=235_23_324&products_id=1254&osCsid=98bea6c3d123577bdf7c89e842b40280
I would like to get Koni's but i am not a millionaire so i need something a little more affordable.
any help with this would be appreciated!

the revalved that people talk about are Bilstein custom valved shocks.
1 main place to get them from is sam@stranoparts.com
he'll discuss your needs and based on the suspension setup you have, he'll give the specs to Bilstein and you end up getting a nice set of shocks.
Like a custom grind cam... with the proper specs for your needs, it works wonders.

Interesting I always read about people getting revalved Bilsteins for handling so I would think they would revalve for drag racing too.

Mostly the valving is matched for the spring being used.
The Bilstein HD shocks are a match for stock springs but anything else needs an adjustment!

Sort of like the way SLP's Bilsteins custom valved for road racing but biased toward street use, Sam could revalve them for drag racing and also bias toward the street with stock springs. At least it would seem.

You get your parts shipped directly to Calgary Kyle?
I live in Lethbridge and get all my parts shipped to Sweetgrass (bordertown) and drive down to pick them up. Mostly they (border feds) just want gst but in the end you save a large amount of money!
Just saying this for in the future if you need anything big (tires/huge wing/headers/etc) we could arrange something as I am in a race series this year at RCMP so I will be coming to your town a fair bit.

yea i get them shipped directly to me, I don't mind paying a little bit for shipping as long as it is hassle free for me..
thanks for the offer tho, i will definitely keep that in mind... next time you are in Calgary, PM me and we will go for a beer or a cruise or something
