The next WCCC (http://corvette-challenge.com) event of the 2007 drag racing season is Saturday, February 17th at LACR (http://lacr.net). This is the second event of the 2007 season. The LACR track entry/tech card fee is $20 for car & driver, and $10 for each additional crewmember. WCCC event registration fees continue to be $15.
Remember since this is the beginning of the new WCCC season, the sign-up fees for season points competition will be due before you can start earning points. Our one time per season points competition registration fee will remain at $20 per WCCC driver. So far six events scheduled for the first part of the season, with more events yet to be scheduled for later in the year.
According to the LACR website annual schedule (http://www.lacr.net/year.html), we will be sharing the track with Team LACR (Summit Series), Pontiac Drag Days, the 12.5 Bracket, and test and tuners...so plan on being there early in order to be ready for our first time trial call. The gates open at 9:00AM, but please check the weekly schedule (http://www.lacr.net/week.html) after Monday 2/12 at the LACR web site LACR and/or phone number (661)-533-2224 to confirm gate open time prior to the event. I'll also add the gate time to this thread when I get it.
So let's hear who's going to be at LACR on February 17th...and if you plan on signing up for the season points competition.
