View Full Version : Taught a arrogant fella in an Audi what "torque" was today.....

I was hitting jewelers row in Philly today and traffic downtown is just ridiculus in the morning. Most streets are only 2 lanes and peeps double park everywhere. Well today I am in the right lane, real arrogant looking prick in an AUDI is in the left, we are at a redlight. DHL van turns and of course he double parks in my lane halfway up the next block. So I check over to see if the Audi is paying attention and he is sneering over at my car(limo tint so he can't see me), giving me the sucks to be you look. As the other light turned yellow he started to move up to get a jump, prol about a foot or so. Well as soon as that sucker turned green I gunned it and launched very nicely, didn't need more than 4000 RPMs to have enough room to pass his ass, by 2nd I passed the DHL van in his lane and got back over into my turning lane at the next light. When he pulls up again he is looking over REAL pissed like how the fuck did that just happen to me, so I took the time to put the window down and yelled over in a polite manner with a smile on my face "That's called torque." :flex: :flex: :nana: :nana: Cheesy? Yeah but fuck it he needed a dose of some good ole American muscle this morning.

I think a Mercedes was trying to fuck with me on the highway...

It was a newer model...two seater convertible, AMG. Anyone know if it woulda been a problem? Pewter color.

Newer AMG's are pretty damn fast from what I understand. I only raced a '90's model...

Yeah, you definitely have to watch out for newer AMGs. Some easily have over 450 HP, with like amounts of torque. Some are nearer to 600, but those are rare cars. Torque? Audis have it, they just have to rev near 5000 before it shows up, kinda like a Honda!!!!!
