My car about 40K on tranny..

what kind of oil do u guys suggest??

I have 400 HP at the crank.

Use stock Dexetron III ATF.

U mean stock (GM stuff) or just any name brand ATF?

Btw, My car is just like urs but I have an 02..

Use Redline D4 ATF. Great stuff to use, trust me on this. Been using in my M6 since I got her. I have a race built M6 with Viper internals, when I had it rebuilt, I used stock stuff for break in and it was stiff as hell and made a lot of noise. After about 500 miles, I said screw it, changed to D4 and it ran much better instantly. No more stiffness and no more loud noises.

I was actually thinking of using Mobil 1..but my tranny feels good right doesn't make any noises...so than I was thinking of just using the gm stuff since it seems to be working fine right now..

I wouldn't mind using Redline but I hate having to deal w/ shipping..

Don't know what I want to do yet..
