After 2 weeks of not being able to wash her it clears up and is around 75. I took her over and spent a good 3 hours on a quick wash and cleaned up the engine and took a few pics. You have seen the outside now here is the power inside.
What do you think. :flex:

I use -for a degreaser- a product from "Spray Nine" corporation. Hard to find retail stores with their product, I get it direct from the manufacturer. Melts the grease off like it's nothing. I also use a product called "Orange Blast" -it is totally awesome and under the hood it smells orange so you don't get that damn petroleum-chemical smell choking you out after you get in your car and use the A/C or heater......

I used some degreaser last time and it didnt seem to ruin anything, too afraid to clean it like I want though. Seems like whatever I do it just doesnt get clean enough under there.

The signature is from barry meguiar.I'll be interested in knowing what kind of durability you've gotten on the products you've used on the black plastic on the engine compartment. That's one of the areas where I've tried numerous products, and none of them has lasted or kept the "black" long enough

I use black magic tire shine on the black plastic and rubber with an old bug sponge. It holds up real good. I just touch it up from time to time.
Just ware a rubber glove while doing this. That black stuff is a bitch to get off your hands

I am a clean freak too. I try to detail every square inch of my cars!
But, it is impossible. I live on a dirt road!

I used high-temp paint for the primer, gloss black, and silver/chrome details. Then I used a hight temp clear coat; lots of coats

is the silver/chrome a paint?

Yes. The paint was actually labeled "Chrome" for automotive painting, but it actually came out more of a silver/polished look. I didn't want to shell out $300 to have my covers painted. I think they came out okay.

Now that is what I like to see. A super clean engine bay!
You have got to have a passion for these cars to not only keep the exterior clean, but the interior, engine and even the underside.
I have to say, I'm guilty of waxing the underside of my car...I can't help it!

Jeez I thought I was bad!! I never clean under my hood. Seems whenever I used to use tire shine etc. it would attract more dirt and dust. Under my hood actually looks decent despite never being cleaned. Wonder what he means by underside of his car?? Surely not underneath??? LOL

A couple weeks ago I decided to clean up my engine bay, and I used some Megs Trim Shine. I think there is better can control with the Trim Shine, but you can't turn this can into a wasp spray unlike the Megs Tire Shine. I don't know what container the Black Magic comes in, but I like the Trim Shine. Not that I can see any room for improvement of the detail on your engine bay.

Triple White, I believe means White exterior paint, white leather interior and white Convertible top. Pretty rare combination.
