My trans am always wears the outside of the front tires; so I took it to an alignment shop and the tech said the alignment is not adjustable.

I previously read on this forum that the lower K-arm bolts adjust the camber so I asked the tech to check those. He did, and adjusted the camber.

However, when the camber is adusted slightly to negative (-0.1 to 0), the castor gets too low (below 4).

Is there a separate adjustment to increase the castor? Or is the castor not independently adjustable relative to the camber?

Thanks for any information.

the caster adjustment is the rear lower control arm bolt. on my hunter alignment machine it has a button you can click to view illustrations. when the tech uses this feature, it shows where the adjustment points are. either he does know about this feature, or his brand of machine doesn't have this.

It is fully adjustable even in stock trim.

There are slots in the K-member for the adjustments.

Thanks for the information. I will look for this additional adjustment point.
