View Full Version : Finally someone wanted to race me!!

Last night going home from school I had someone finally race me. I was just crusing along and I hear a LOUD vehicle next to me. I looked over and saw a truck. I continued on minding my business and he reved again a blew by me. At this time I noticed it was a SRT-10 4 door ram. We get down the highway where there is no traffic and we slow to about 5 MPH. I have go to say those trucks are freakin fast. He held his ground with me and I ended up pulling ahead by maybe a half car. Then he wanted to go again. This time from a 40 MPH kick. I have to say he didn't hold up as well here, I beat him easier this time. By far the coolest race I have been envolved in since I have owned the car. :nana:

I bought the car a few months ago and from what i can tell there is a whisper lid and true dual exhaust.. i don't really know what else they might have done.. i want to ask the dealer for the people who traded the car in information, but i don't know if they will give it to me.. i was talking to a guy at work who knows the guy with the SRT, and he was shocked i beat him.. he said dude raced a 2000 ss 6spd, and they beat him pretty bad... my guess though is driver! ha

i don't know.. but that was one sweet 4door sport truck.. my car is loud but this truck made it sound weak...

The 4door ones are heavy ass pigs. They look nice though.

i wouldn't have been able to tell that the truck was heavy... someone at work was also telling me that he has spray... if he would have sprayed me wouldn't i have probably lost the race??

Maybe if he sprayed, maybe. The 2doors run low 14's or high 13's. I would only worry about Ford Lightning's...

Nice kill....they are pretty quick to be such a heavy truck! As stated above, beware of the newer Ford Lightening!

I think id rather have a newer lightning than a SRT-10. That is if i had to have a truck.

haha yep....stock for stock its a drivers race...me with my 4 pound lower pulley....hahahahahahahahahaha
