View Full Version : Who all makes CF lids. I want one damn it.

As the title says. I want my first mod to be a lid and I really like the look of the carbon fiber lids. Who makes them and do they work well?

Whisper motorsports and MTI makes CF lids. They aren't real CF they just look like CF. A lid is a lid so it doesn't matter too much on what brand. They usually run for the CF versons about $120

Thats horrible! thats the defination of ricey. I am not going to put something like that on my car. I guess I'll get a plan old SLP lid :brick:

Just buy the cheapest one you can find, Sand it down, and paint it to match your car.

or ... I could just buy a SLP and get it done with. I actually like the dull look of the plastic inside.

I really like the CF look but I am defintely not going to buy something that is just a painted to look like it. I'm not fauxing a house damn it.
