i made it, lol. well most of it. i got the the bulbs ballasts and igniters from ebay, and the projectors i got from a set of vw passat headlights. i made all the brackets and housings that hold everything.

thanks ss. it took a few months to get it to that point, but i am very plased with the results. i got a chance to drive a car in front of mine yestarday and they look awesome coming up on you. in the next few weeks i plan to switch the inner lights to projectors also. ill post some pics of that when done.

Are you talking about the breathless performance conversion? That's the only one I've see, and I heard the quality of those aren't the best.

ive heard the same. essentially your paying for the custom molded plastic piece that goes where your old eyelid used to be. the rest is apparently a selection of sealed fog lights right off a wal mart shelf, or close to it... i prefer mine.

well, the hid kit (bulbs ballasts ignitors and some wires were 215 dollars for an off brand. to get name brand expect closer to three hundred. i went through several kinds of paint, about 20 bucks worth. 10 dollars woth of pvc, jb weld, and expect to pay anywhere from 150 all the way up to 300+ dollars for a set of projectors. (mine were free, i pilfered them from my job) add in the couple months it took to accumulate all the parts and perfect it so rather pricey. if you go frugal like me 200-250 (if you can find projectors for free) or you can buy a complete kit from a few vendors online for around 4-500 dollars.

i have a set of projector housings like that, that accept h1 hid retrofit kits. i was gonna put it in my camaro housing but it would not fit. but it would work in a t/a or a 93-97 camaro better if anyone wants dimentions or is looking to buy them(120 shipped) they are in like new shape. email me csfast66@yahoo. i went ahead and did a diferent hid setup on my camaro. i would have liked the projector better because it has a cut off shield which my setup now does not have so now i have to make one because the damn lights are so freakin bright that even the people in front of me pull over
