For the last week or so, my Camaro has been at Automotive Technolgy (Norfolk, VA). the spool was replaced with a limited slip and the ring and pinion gears were replaced. after all that was said and done, i had it dyno tuned. i do have a vid, but my dumbass of a roomate lost the cable needed to download it to the computer. i am REALLY happy with these results tho...
349.52rwhp/336.14rwtq SAE corrected.
the guy that owns the shop did the tune and was kinda pissed that he couldnt hit the 350rwhp mark in only four pulls. so, im taking it back to him an a couple of weeks to see if he can squeak out an extra pony or two.

What mods you got and what kind of dyno?

it was on a dynojet.
the biggest mods i have include an LT4 conversion and a 12-bolt.

sounds pretty good to me! You got any track times in that thing?

not on the new tune. last time i was at the track, my personal best was only a 13.4 but when i caught 4th, it felt like the back end broke loose, so i never got back in the gas. the previous owner broke into the high 12's with it on the old tune. i will, however, be going up to Virginia Motorsports Park early March to see if i can do any better. the biggest mod i need now is the ever important "driver mod."

same here man, gotta get over the fear of the car but IN DUE TIME only. I've still got some getting used to, to be doing in my SS 6spd vert, I have no trouble with the stangs but other fbodies give me hell. I've only raced modded ones so far. 1'sa turboed t/a and an unknown modded Z28(I think its spray!) I've only run in the 1/8th and I got like 9.4sec at about 75mph. My reaction time was slow because it was my first time out. On the street its a different story. I almost always get the jump and I keep the lead.

for your reaction time, it takes some getting used to, but go as soon as you see the bottom yellow light turns on. it will feel wierd, but that will get your R/T down. my best time slip as of now looks something like:
R/T: .322
60' : 1.868
330' : 5.606
1/8: 8.625 @ 78.66
1000' : 11.237
1/4: 13.469 @95.32
the speed is so low because of having to get out of the throttle just after the 1000' beams. my best trap was 104.11 with an ET of 13.495
my problem isnt being afraid of the car or being afraid of launching too hard or slamming the gears around. ive only made a total of 6 passes in this car, and just havent really gotten used to it yet. but im hoping that will change.

keep in mind i love my car. but i wouldnt go with the LT4 conversion again if i had the choice. you'd be better off going with the LE2 setup from Lloyd Elliot. if i remember right, as long as you have all of the supporting mods, you should get about 420 hp at the wheels with that setup. and after shipping costs, it runs about the same price.

wow 420 rwhp is like an ls1 with heads, cam,lt's bolt ons, and ls6 intake and tune.....if i could make that power in an lt1 i would not be complaining at all....and i am going to build the bottom end to handle a 150 ,200 shot...so it sounds sorta easy then....especially since im not scared of any iron block....
