Does anyone know if there was a production 96 or 97 ss that came in hugger orange with white stripes? There was one on tv and I didnt know if that was factory. Any info is much appreciated!

I think there was only a couple made and I believe they were LT4 SS's
I have always wanted that car!

Those were white with hugger orange stripes, 100 of them made IIRC. I haven't ever heard of any hugger orange ones with white stripes factory produced.

The hugger/white was a special production version, none of them were for sale to the public

And yes there were 104 SS LT4's and 957 30th anny SS's both in white/hugger stripes

White and orange were 30th Ann. Camaros, either LT1 or LT4. There were two orange and white (reverse color combo of 30th Ann.) cars. The original went to Matt Murphy (GMMG) which I believe was a prototype car meant to introduce the 30th Ann cars and was displayed at the SEMA show.

The second, which was and is a replica, was produced for a dealer in Canada by Zeke's, here is a link: http://www.zekesauto.com/en/proj/proj-pmkn.html (Copy ad paste if it doesn't work).

No problem... Where at in the Chi Subs are you? I used to have a 2002 SOM SS also but sold it a while back. How long have you had yours?

Im in Wheaton. I bought my 02 ss in august of last year. Are you in chicago?

Yeah I live in the Chicago Heights/Homewood area. I usually work around the Wheaton area, I'm usually on I-88 or I-355 for my job. Did you buy your ca from a dealer or private owner?

I bought it from an old guy in downtown chicago. It only has 6K miles on it. He didnt know what he had, i got it cheap. Do you have an LT4 camaro??

wow that is a nice car. you only have 1500 miles on it?? hey when it warms up, we gotta meet at a car show or somethin. I gotta check out that ride. Very nice

Yeah its a garage baby, don't drive it alot. Not a problem I would love to meet up somewhere. I can't wait for the weather to get warmer. I woke up today and the weather report said -4 degrees, CRAZY!!! I'm going to the Vette Fest in March but the car won't be there. I want to see if any other LT-4 F-body cars will attend.

Why dont you put your car in there? Do you belong to the illinois camaro club? Im a member, they put on quite a show at the vettefest. I hate illinois, 4 below zero.

No I'm not a member of the Illinois Camaro Club. I have been thinking about buying an enclosed trailer so I can take the car to the next Vette Fest. I would like to get more into the car show scene.
