No poll. I have a Pro 5.0, but seriously, any aftermarket shifter is going to be better than stock and are basically all the same.

Pro 5.0 + Lous short stick = shortest shifter.

lol, thats what i got, probably shoulda went with something else, but these trannys are sloppy to begin with, never shifted another t-56 so i wouldnt know

You really think the T56 is sloppy?? :think:

My T56 + Pro 5.0 + WS6 Short stick is anything but sloppy.

Its easily the most precise and direct feeling shifter/transmission I've ever used.

Junk?? No.

Did they have some issues with the earlier ones?? Sure.

When I get mine rebuilt (bad synchros and bearings, someone beat on it pretty bad) I'll be sure to use the upgraded components from the newer T56's. Meaning cast iron forks, carbon fiber blocker rings, ect.

Man, I don't mean to get on your case again, but, T56's are not SLOPPY JUNK. You want sloppy, go drive a Honda. T56's are in vets, vipers, GTO's, and once in the Rustang.

I Like The T-56 Trannys Too. But I Know You Need To Upgrade Them Cuz They Dont Have Carbon Synco Rings.. They Have Papper Gasket.. Read T-56 Rebuild Gm High Tech Perfom. I Think Last Issue. I Have The Stock Shifter And It Work Well In My Opinion.. I Don't Think Your Gonna Get Much Shorter Than The Stock One Maybe Another Half Inch.. But Who In The Hella Wants A Joystick.. Leave That Up Too Evo's And Subrus

Hmph. All the Lous short stick is..is a shorter shift shaft. The problem the stockers have is in the base...which you havent replaced.
