2009 camaro price ? high volume low price OR a low volume and high price

does anybody know how much the cost is? is its going to be competitve this the 93-02 's or higher? i think it will be much more just cause it has everything including 20' wheels which no camaro has ever had. i heard that gm was still debating if it will be a high volume low price car which will be cheap OR a low volume and high price car . any body let us know

it wont have 20s stock, no way. it is going to be a high volume car. they said their goal was like 150,000 units a year. About 3x the amount sold in any single year of ls1 camaro. they will try to make them as affordable as possible. i would expect the base model v8, comparably equipped to come in the high 20k range..maybe low 30k. Compare that to the pig challenger; low production-~50k units/yr(base hemi), curb weight anywhere from 3600-3800 lbs??(based off shortened lx platform), concept weighs 4,160. And the price will be somewhere north of base hemi chargers. chevy needs to keep the weight down and power up to stay competitive.

I will let everyone know as soon as I find out. I work for GM and I get a lot of insider news before it hits the media. I haven't heard anything yet. Only that the price will be comparable to what the 2002's were selling for.

yeah the chevy dealerships around me suck...got no good or new cars, and they said they dont know anything about the new camaro

$2?,000 for a base V8, I will beleive it when I see it for GM. I will not be buying one simply becaue I do not like the 69 Camaro 67,68 I liked. I just wish they would give you better ordering options like back in the late 60's(from what I heard I only 26) I was a technician a Pontiac dealership and I could not order a Trans am with cloth, manual doors, windows, mirrors or without t-tops.
