Hello, New to the site and new to fbodies and muscle period! I have had this 2002 black firehawk that my dad bought from me. I have ran it a couple of times at the track fastest time was 13.23 and avg is about 13.6. I want to start modding but don't really know where to start. I have read the thread about first mod's. I have done the free mod and bought the TB bypass from ebay and might be looking into the cold kit from slp but from a friend who bought it for his z28 and he is no deploying and isn't going to put it on and just drop and crate motor in her. So that will be my first mod and looking into subframe connectors, lt with y pipe. And then redo my stereo because speakers is blown!

Welcome to the site. Most of your questions can be answered in the appropriate technical forums. The exhaust and sub frame connectors are usually the first mods done to an LS1. Is your car an auto or manual transmission, if its an auto you should look into doing a stall convertor with the supporting mods. A stall is probably the best mod for an automatic transmission.

Its an auto.
The next 3 mods you should do:
Sub frame connectors
Stall convertor, 3500 range with a tranny cooler and possibly shift kit
Long tubes & supporting exhaust
You should have a middle 12 second car with those 3 mods :yup: :flex:

I was doing an oil chance and from the end of the oval bullshit y pipe back is 3 inches or better so all i need is a y pipe and lt's. i seen in the thread that 3200 3500 is good, anyone know the cheapest brand. Found this on ebay

And i seen subframe vary aswell, know a good brand for a ok price.
Man V8 parts are expensive.

both Y2K and i have had TCI SSF's and had great luck with them. mine is now out but i had a sour grape in the bunch and it started to burn up the trans at highway speed. mine is the only case ive heard of that also it was an LT1 car too. looks like a good deal.
also headers and Y do alot for these cars. the sooner you get them the better, hahahahaha
Welcome to the site. Have fun with modding. Nice car.
