hiya Shelby!!!
hey man, get all the specs that you can. miles, A4 or M6, options, shit even pics would help too. do your research before buying and look to see what cars of that year/milage/condition sell for to give you an idea. $10k seems high, but then again low miles and excellent condition could warrent the price. do you see what we are getting at..?

Generally, the dealers add $1,000-1,500 to what they will actually take for a car. So if they're asking $9995,then you might be able to buy it for $8500. But you'll have to haggle for it. Let them know you're interested, and tell them you can't afford to pay what they're asking.

I just picked up an '00 Z28 with the SS badging and hood, and ground effects. SLP LM exhaust and lid. 64K, M6, new tires, AR TT rims. Very clean condition, but not perfect. Payed more the $9K for it, so if it's nice, it doesn't sound like a bad price to me.

i got a 01 SS and im not a track driver but i ran a 13.80 at 103 on overdrive all the way, i was wondering is it better to run on drive or whats the best way. to try to get the best of it. i have only a K & N filter and a flowmaster everything else is stock.

Overdrive changes your shift points for better gas mileage. If you put it on drive, it'll rev higher before it shifts gears giving you more acceleration but less gas mileage. If you're serious about racing, look into a stall converter which will launch your car off the line like you have a manual. Not a bad time for what you've got tho!
