If its an orig SS, what ever it came with from the factory is the best.
But the best 98 thru 02 SS wheels by far, are the SLP upgrade, 17" Chrome 5 spoke wheel, with the SS center.

The chrome 10 spokes are the best factory wheel available for the Camaro's IMO as well. :yup:

nope they take different center caps, the 5 spoke is circular and the 10 spoke is 5 sided

I have Chromed Z06 wheels on my 2001. It is by far the best looking wheel on any F-Boby. 17x9.5 front 18x10.5 rears. It looks extra mean with 295's on the rear and 265's on the front. I personally have 315 drag slick on mine and 275's on the front.

Something about putting vette wheels,or really any other after market wheel on my SS,would rub me the wrong way, + wouldn't be able to do it.
If you bought an SS, you bought it because of its looks + the fact that its a Camaro SS,Why change that to something totally diff,wheels really change the personality of a car
Save the over done stuff for the fast + furious crowd, who's Import cars lack personality + need the stuff.
An SS is a Piece of artwork from the factory,Take pride in knowng you don't have to bling it up,Its already there,changing it degrades it.
There were 2 wheel upgrade options, that could have been ordered on your car when new, instead of the standard Painted 10 spoke SS wheel. They were the Chromed 10 spoke, + the Chrome 5 Spoke wheels,IMO either choice would be the classiest, of any wheel change you could do.And either one will give the extra Pizazz you are looking for without really ruining the originality of your car.

Man I wish I could give you my wheels hahaha. You need to send them off to get chromed! I'm getting mine redone when I get another set to use while they're getting done.

World of wheels this year was ok, kinda the same ol cars we see at the shows here in between Tennessee and Georgia. You know the old/new vettes, old camaros+1 newer one and all kinds of stuff. Last year I saw one of the original zl1's which wasn't there this time. This time they had a bicycle stunt show which was pretty cool. OH the bikini contest!:love: that was pretty cool. It was nice man. I want to get into it one of these years.

I put my friend's black ZR1's on my '00 to see what they look like. I think they detracted from the lines, but that's just me. The chrome really helps the car stand out. Also, in the pics, the wheels are really dirty. They need to be given a good polish, but they are still pretty shiny, regardless.
