anyone use these headers on an 01+. what do you have to do to remove the air injection pump? http://www.slponline.com/view_product.asp?P=30049

SLP's are good for everything except ground clearence, most people that have them complain about that. Take a look at Stainless Works, or Kooks, they are probably better for the price. I have the SW and install was EASY, and my SFC's hang lower then the headers do.

Removing the AIR system is easy, takes about 20 minutes. Disconnect the tubes on the exhaust manifolds and just follow the lines around to the pump (under driver side front clip) . You will have to plug up a vacum line located in the back of the drivers side head, and they bracket can be a PITA to get off, but take your time. The pump itself is easily accessible from under the car, a little door unbolts and swings out of the way allowing access (4 bolts hold it in). Total weight is about 11 pounds for all this stuff.

I agree, SLP headers DO have clearance issues so BEWARE!!! There about 3/4" lower then typical heders and do not tuck in well.
