Well, to make it short, I whooped a blinged out del Sol last night.

Unfortunately for him, I wasn't driving the '69, instead I was in my beater '92 Ranger. It's got a four-banger, five speed, and glasspack thrown in just to piss the ricers off. Anyways, I was on my way home after work and had just stopped at a light when the del Sol pulls up. I think to myself, hey, this could be fun and give him a little rev. Needless to say, he got all excited started revving too. Sounded like a couple of pissed off weedeaters getting ready to go at. When the light turned we went and I powershifted my to victory. Had a car on him and he seemed a little upset. Anyways it was fun, but I haven't figured out if I should be more embarassed or if he should.:sillyme:

Thats great. I just bought a beater, its a 95 cavalier, nothing special, all stock 4 banger but every time I see a ricer they are checking it out and revving there cars. Im like wtf you people cant be serious.

It's funny because I drive a 2001 Silverado with 6" lift and 35's.. and I get ricers eggin me on at every freakin stoplight. Havnt lost to a ricer yet which is very.. very sad.... I even beat an Audi A4 4 banger.... Sorry, Im not trying to steal the thread... carry on... :Popcorn:

Man I would love to beat rice in my beater, but it is also rice...check this out.. a 97 black celica with two fat yellow racing stripes, 1.8L with auto,a fart can, header, cold air intake pushing a whopping 85hp. to the wheels...I know I know I was really stupid 5yrs. ago when I bought it..what was I thinking :shots: but I do have to admit that after 190,000 the thing still runs like new and gets 30mpg. on the highway...just to bad my riding mower will outrun it...:lol:
