anybody else have their door panels crack? both of mine did, vertical crack straight down from the window about 3 inches long. i think it might be from the electric windows.

yup........my driver side door is cracking. One of the forums had a discussion about this. They were trying to get GM to do a recall on the doors.

Long heavy doors + disconnected sub-frame = problems

Oh and T-Tops don't help either for the rigidity of the car.

But this is something thats been hapenning for as far as I can remember. My 83 Monte Carlo had the same problem.

yeah my passenger door has a crack in it by the top where u open it

i got a nice crack right under the driver door mirror about 3 inchs long.

its really common. my 99 has it on both doors.

I had the same problem on my 93 Z28 my mechanic said that the doors are kinda glued in that joint and after time it brakes loose. Long story short he sent my car to like a specialist who deals with that kinda stuff and he re-glued it and its like brand new now. It was about $100-200 I think. Luckily I havent had any problem with my 2000 WS6. I think now slamming your doors will help out a bunch.

yea my 99 is the same way. passenger door panel is cracked all the way and drivers is starting to crack ass well.
