I went to cleaning my engine today and went so far as to remove the SLP airbox cover off of my car. I've had the car just over a month and don't know the specifics on engine work done on it . . . .yet!
When I pulled the airbox cover off I just kept cleaning and cleaning. . .
I did not damage the MAF, but looking at it I saw etched into the side of it:
"Z06 88 V +5%"

Does this sound familiar to anyone? I measured the thing at 3.5" across.

Thank you!

Duff

I've recently heard tell that some of the 01' Z's had some mixed Z06 componants (block/intake/clutch/cam) and such. . .confirm or deny? ? ?

what's the part number on it, some 01's and 02's got the ls6 block but that's all, and since 01 they all got the z06 intake

btw 3.5 across the MAF is not the z06 maf

3.5" is about 88mm. Your measurement is most likely not exact, so there is a very good possibility that it is a Z06 MAF. BTW, I am assuming you measured the ID, not the OD.

I measured the ID and OD on both the z06 and ls1 mafs, the only measurement that was 3.5 on the nose was across the ls1 maf
