It's a custom 2.75" Stainless S. exh. system with a polished Shotgun Loudmouth Resonator.

3" duals dumped... I miss my exhaust tips! I think I may actually have the exhaust redone this spring with 2.5" piping, a pair of electric cutouts, and run it all the way over the axle and out the back. I love the sound of dumped duals, but clearance hurts, and like I said, I miss tips.

It's an 86 IROC. but I pulled the post of the T/A exhaust cause I realized this is the Camaro section. . .Duh! What happens when you get wrapped up reading threads and don't pay attention where you are!

P.S. Sold the IROC this week, so it's gone. 1 toy is enough for now.

I bought the system because it was the only one available over here at the time, got a good deal on it, too. I was actually surprised that it sounded pretty good, not too loud though. More of a dark, muffled sound. But the tips have a nice ring when they drag over concrete floor... (some ramps to parking garages and the like):yup:

Yes and no, we gotta have foggers in the front (beams/white) and in the rear (position/red). You're supposed to turn them on when the visibility is less than 50 meters.

Thanks man. Are you asking about the stainless cme tips? Quality=friggin awesome. I was going to go with the factory slp style, but I heard that they have issues with cracking. I actually stripped the black paint from the inside of the tips last week and sprayed it red. I was afraid it would like kinda rice burnerish but it came out pretty nice. I've got a red bulb in my tag light and it looks sinister at night when it shines down.

i like the aftermarket tips alot but the only thing that bugs me is that they show the piping under the valence.........if they were more tucked like the factory style i would like them much more

I agree man, but it was 3 inch and the factory's wasn't. That was the second reason I went with the custom. I also like the fact that not many of them are around.

I painted the exhaust tubing on mine with black rustoleum, much less noticeable. I think I need to do part of the CME though.

Hey man I bought the slp cme when I had my v6 and I had the same problem with the piping showing. It depends no the exhaust shop you go to and how good they are. I masked it on mine. I got some black high heat paint and you know the rest. worked out great! I'll post a pic up later or just check out my cardomain.

I had that same exact system on my 97SS, except they had extra resonators after the muff. That was a quiet car.

i have the stock stainless steel slp dual dual exhaust. it performs great but i was always a little sad i didnt have a nice chrome exhaust like some of the aftermarket setups out there. however, i just bought these online a few days ago :) they look really similar to the corsa tips but were a fraction of the price. ill post up some pics after i've installed them.

Wow, I cant believe how flushed the true duals are. Besides the TSP setup, did you have an exhaust shop MANDREL BEND the rest of the tubing for you?

I have no mandrel benders locally around here (45 min north of west palm beach), so I cant get my exhaust. :(

it's not mandrel bent, although I wish it was. We did take our sweet ass time and try to get everything just perfect...I'm an obssessive freak about the car. Good news is, I got my car cleaned up yesterday. Bad news, it snowed/rained again today. I'll take pics as soon as the sun comes out.
