I like the new ones and I think they look mean, but I think ours are sexy and mean! I think the 4thgens are still the best looking but I am proud of the fresh start the new ones are bringing

I am going to go out on a limb here and say they will be a lot faster than a 3rd gen, stock vs. stock :yup:

They'll most definitely be faster than the 3rd gens. I'd even say they will be beating the new mustangs of the same year. gm won't bring it back as trash because that would be worse than not bringing it back at all. I'm mainly concerned with how they'd put up against us lt1 and ls1s of the 4th gen...

ss427 will happen, I'm pretty sure. hot rod mag did a survey on what options people wanted and how much they'd pay. Well my self as well as others thought there should be an ss427 and they said that survey would be a direct line from fans to gm. I'm pretty sure its gonna happen, maybe not the first year back but a few years after.
the zl1 package may be that ls9 they're talking about. its smaller than the 427 but it's supercharged with more power

I will be signing my name on the dotted line as soon as they offer an SS-type coupe, six-speed, and 427+cube LSX. Go ahead an put my order down GM!
For once in my life I will own a brand new, unmolested sports car.

Love that car.

It's a concept car. I kinda doubt they'll be driving the tar out of it and smoking the tires.

Eh, no excuse. Its a muscle car. Most people are not buying it for comfort or gas mileage, but power.

Nobody is going to buy the cow if they get the milk for free.

It'll be a museum piece. That's all the excuse it needs.

The concept car isn't designed to be able to handle the full power of the LS2, it's simply a show car. In fact, the throttle on that car will only go to 30% and the car is speed limited to 40mph. The production version on the other hand will obviously be built to handle the power.

that happens to be what I understand the only concept Camaro. Basically if that one is destroyed they've got to damn near start from scratch to make another one. wouldn't want that now would we?

Agreed. Put a 427 in it GM, damn your soul.
I hearby decree that all future Z28's will have the LS7, and all SS's will have a 454 cu in LSX, and all V6's will be ummm, sold to little old ladies. Those in favor, say aye.

If they cant show it in its entirety, I dont want to see it until they do.
Seriously, first came pictures, now a sunday drive...just get it all good and done with so the sales pitch is legitamate. Is seeing a concept car haul ass going to hurt sales?

Couldnt that happen with any car? Any concept? Are they hiding something.
Bah.
Its one vid, I guess everyone can take it as is. Mine is the same.
Tail lights suck.
Driving sucks.
Other than that I like it.
