corvettes aren't unibody. they don't make subframes for them.
you feel like you're getting body flex? You might want to look into a roll cage.

The Elite Engineering tunnel plate will stiffen up your ride, at a fraction of the cost for a roll cage.

I have one installed (1/4 inch thick), but I haven't really got into the car yet since it's being broke in. Just by looking at the piece compared to stock, you can't help but think it will only do good.
One other thing it helps with is the center console doesn't get near as hot as it did with the stock plate. EE has GREAT service as well! :2thumbs:

I didn't. They released that after I bought mine. I hear people are loving them even more.

You're definitely going to get more flex with a convertible than with a coupe. The plate will help considerably in that regard. I hear the specially coated plate (I can't think of what it's called right now) isn't a whole bunch better relieving
the heat problem. I installed a heat shield below it and despite already insulating the whole car had to put extra insulation under the console, but my car is an extreme case. If you add headers heat becomes an even greater problem. BTW, if you are planning on drag/road racing your car you might as well start thinking about roll bars now, because they will become necessary.

i autoX my car
these chassis are very stiff from factory
i use the tunnel brace plate
between that and Bilstein shocks, you can tell it is more planted
