I havent been on this site in a while, but had a few questions for the experts. I drive an 01 ws6 6spd. Nothing really heavy done to it. Heres my problem. When I really get on it turning high rpms the clutch will lose pressure. There is also this god awful burning smell. I have to push the clutch a couple of times to get pressure back. Sorry if i sound ignorant. I know very little about clutches. I am online to buy whatever I need though. I have about 91,000 miles on the stock clutch and i dont baby my car. I was just about to buy a new high perfomance clutch from ws6store.com. Till i started reading threads on here with people losing pressure. I dont want to buy a new one and then burn it up. Do I need a new slave cylinder? Master clyinder? I am stiil going to buy a better clutch just for good measure. I just dont want to burn up a new one. The pedal is pressure is fine. I only have problems when I get on the gas or burn out. Someone help!!

Well at 90,000miles, I am definnitly sure you need a clutch and pressure plate. Go with a new master cylinder. It seems like it is acting up.
