LT's and LM2

Does the LM2 exhaust sound raspy and really loud with pacesetter Lt's or is it more refined then the LM with LT's, or should i just get a whole new exhaust since i already have the LM with no headers yet.

Never heard that setup in person, but I think it will sound good. I'm getting LM2 this spring to add to my pacesetter LT's. Others think that the combo is way too raspy and don't like it. But its all personal preference.

it is a little more refined and quieter at an idle. I did the LM2 conversion on mine because of that annoying popping at about 2500 rpms and being a stalled A4 i couldnt stay out of that rpm. LM2 sounds much better though and is equally as loud when you put your foot into it. To really keep the rasp out I owuld recommend getting cats but either way I think it sounds great

Pipes...I don't have the LM2 but here is my car w/LT, ORY, and LM. perhaps this might give you an idea. my car is ungodly loud, but that's how I wanted it...

aw, just backrap (back pressure/exhaust scavaging). it's not that bad IMO...

im sorry i took soo long but here are two vids that may give you an idea. unlike SSwt I couldnt doing any WOT vids for ya because I have an A4 and second gear is blown in it so WOT is almost impossible til about 70 lol

that one is at idle, a rev up to about 3000 and then driving away

this one is driving by at around 2500-3000 RPMS.


it is also louder than the video lets it seem, it is pretty quiet at idle but screams at WOT just like it would with the LM1. At WOT the 1 and 2 sound about identical.
