83,000 miles.

Hoping to get 125,000mi before a rebuild. Should do it pretty comfortably as I don't stress my engine to much. The chassis is another matter though.

y2kpewterss ,Those are pretty hefty mods,Have you raced it? what did you get for times? Dyno #'s?
Have you beefed up the rear at all?
If I keep the Z I may build it now that i have the SS
as a stocker. So i'm looking at potential mods.

I have zero #s on the car right now honestly. The heads/cam are sitting awaiting install. I am a store manager and with this the busiest time of year for me, I just haven't had time to install it all honestly, I guess I need to note that in my sig :brick: . I also need to stop buying wheels/tires, I just recently bought my 3rd set of wheels, the CCWs for the Camaro. My tune funds keep going bye bye with the wheels

I have a pretty good idea what the car should do once its installed though. The ONLY thing I am missing is a solid rearend on this car and it will be a full built car. I have put a TA girdle on the 10 bolt to help, but that probably wouldn't help a great deal if I started abusing the rear. I have as much money into show stuff in this car as performance and truly am scared to push it as well. I would love to be in the same position as you, have a Z and SS, one a vert. I miss my old vert, they are so nice for cruising/pleasure.

What are you considering for mods on the Z?

19,990 on the 99 hugger orange ss

What! No 28,000 mi black 96 SS?
What ended up happening with that deal?
Ps, That ultra low mile SOM SS must be Awesome,
Center Exhaust? a4 0r m6? Is it all stock?
The hugger must be nice too,Don't know if i've seen one in person. I may try to find to find an a4 SOM SS T-Top car to go with the M6 SS vert, would be nice having one of each,+ use the auto more as the every day driver, but I'm out of garage space so I'll have to sell my Z 1st. It's kind of cool having the two mystic cars in the garage but,I'd like another SS + they didn't make any mystic SS's, it would be nice to have a second color anyway,+ I love the som,I'm thinking possibly even a SOM a4 vert, probably whatever presents itself first.

Hey i passed on the 96 ss. It was a very nice car, dude was just askin too much for it and wouldnt budge on the price. My som camaro is very nice. I just bought it last summer, its an a4 all stock. i bought the center exhaust for it, havent put it on yet. I got pics of both cars but i dont know how to post them up! My buddy had a mystic colored t/a, it looked cool in the sun.

[QUOTE=Y2KPewterSS;

What are you considering for mods on the Z?[/QUOTE]

Not sure yet, just starting to look at options,
but those stage-2 ls6 heads + cam sound like a good place to start, maybe bigger converter, get rid of that tiny little pinched h-pipe.or instead of all the bolt ons maybe just, blown + intercooled.
It just runs so good now,+ is such a nice daily driver I kind of hate to mess with it.the mild combination it has now seems to work great + its pretty quick,so I'm toying with the idea of,leaving it as is,as the daily driver,+ use the vert as the sunday afternoon/carshow car.But i'm getting the itch for something Really nasty so i'm considering, building a 87-93 stang for all out beating purposes.I know what your thinking "TRADER" but i like any fast car, + i've been without anything fast for at least a couple of years,(sold the house with the garages)So i guess i'm making up for lost time + want one of each.both camaro's were bought within the last couple months,+ now i'm considering a stang,I think i've got "Hipo Fever" bad + its not even spring yet.
