i as well get gmhightech and its a great article besides the fact that there runs with the ferrari and the lambo are FAAAAAAAAAAAAAR slower than both motertrend and car and driver got with those cars????? were those super slow runs done on purpose with them being bias????? besides the times ran for those cars i loved the article

The lambo should have been faster, but as mentioned in the article, the clutch was slipping. That was the first article I read when I got that issue in the mail. A clutch replacement for the lambo is, I think it said 5 grand.

the 430 only ran like 12.9 dude..there capable of WAY better..belive motertrend had them in the 11s..thats rediculous to have a 1 sec diff between tests since the car is mid engine rear wheel drive...how hard can it be to launch?????? engine is right over the rear tires

I don't pay much attention to the exotics and their specs, but the numbers for some of those cars seemed a bit slower than expected. I would hate for it to sound like GM High Tech was biased on some of the runs.
There is no shame in running a tenth slower than an exotic supercar that costs 100 thousand more, IMO.

agreed...just looks like thats what they did to me...the 430 is what 480 horse i belive????? and like 3300 lbs ....mid engine rwd..and all they could pull was high 12s???? whats a 480 horse fbody run which has terrible weight distribution...low 12s to high 11s.......the clutch slippin on the lambo is fine..that makes sense..but i dont see an excuse for the HORRIBLE time run with the 430....yeah if the 430 ran a 10th or 2 faster than the z06 which it prolly shouldnt anyways u wouldnt lose ANY respect for the z06 seeing it costs 200k less
