Need Help! Koni DA and GW adjusters

Anyone here have experience installing the Global West front spring adjusters on Koni DA shocks? I'm having a hard time getting the upper mount off the shock - the jam nut is extremely tight and difficult to get at with a wrench. Any tips or tricks to this?

Already called Global West. Their suggestion was open end wrench and lots of WD-40. Been there, done that. Fearful I'm going to destroy the jam nut because the wrench slips off so easily.

Any help would be appreciated.
